====== BLANC ====== * Derivat del germànic blank: brillant, resplandent, blanc. Pot tindre el sentit de lloc on hi ha argila blanca o blanquisall ([[DECLC]]) * **Partida del Blanc (secà).**- [el ‘blank] Apareix al [[Llibre Padró]] (f. 75v). Partida de secà, possiblement a l’actual Partida de [[PERDIGUER]], entre la [[LLOMA]] i el Camí de [[MADRID]], en front de l’actual zona de l’[[AEROPORT]]. Al Padró de 1812, apareix com un territori quasi tot propietat del latifundista Francisco Paula Fos, que posseïa unes 90 fanecades, totes arrendades a gent del poble. * **Partida del Blanc (horta).**- [el ‘blank] (39.474341, -0.433983) Es troba assenyalada al [[cadastre de 1992]] (disseminats, YJ27E) encar que el topònim és més antic. Esta partida de l’horta, està al sud de l’[[ARQUILLO]], per la zona entre l’[[AUTOVIA]] A-3 i el Camí de La [[NÒRIA]], entre la Senda de [[XIRIVELLA]] i la Senda de [[SILLA]], a l’actual Partida dels [[FONDOS]].
